What’s in this article

Marker.io is a website feedback and bug reporting widget for QA and web teams, priced by users. Teams look for a Marker.io alternative when they need Jira and console logs, which start on the $149 Team plan, or when site traffic outgrows the page-view limit.

This guide compares seven alternatives in two groups: tools with Jira and console logs on a plan that costs less than Marker.io Team, and tools that solve a different Marker.io limit. For each one it lists the pricing model, the free plan, where console logs and Jira start, any traffic limit, and the main trade-off. Prices and limits come from each vendor’s own pricing, feature or help pages, checked in October 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm current prices on their site before you decide.

Marker.io alternatives for 2026: seven website feedback tools compared on Jira, console logs, page-view limits and free plans

Key takeaways

  • Marker.io Starter costs $39 a month billed annually for 3 users, with 13 integrations such as GitHub, Linear and ClickUp. Jira, Azure DevOps, console logs, network requests and session replay start on Team, at $149 a month billed annually for 15 users.
  • Marker.io caps page views at 5,000 visitor sessions a month on Starter and 25,000 on Team. On a public site, every visit to a page that shows the widget counts.
  • Marker.io has no free plan, and its trial lasts 15 days. Ybug, Jam.dev and Userback each offer a free plan with limits.
  • Ybug STARTUP (€29 a month), Usersnap Starter (€49) and Jam.dev Free include both Jira and console logs. Userback includes Jira from its first paid plan and console logs from Business, at $99 a month.
  • Marker.io remains a good fit for teams that use Team’s 15 users, want status changes from Jira to flow back, and want session replay with each report.

How do the alternatives compare?

The table compares the points that usually decide a switch: how the price grows with the team, the cheapest paid plan, whether a free plan exists, which plan captures console logs, which plan first connects Jira, and whether the plan limits traffic.

Tool Best for Pricing model Paid plans from Free plan Console logs Jira from Traffic limit
Marker.io QA teams with a Team budget User tiers + extra users $39/mo annual No Team Team, $149/mo annual 5k sessions/mo (Starter), 25k (Team)
Ybug Flat price, Jira and console logs Flat per plan €13/mo Yes BASIC (limited), STARTUP (full) BASIC, €13/mo* None on paid plans
Usersnap Bug reports plus surveys Project tiers, 2 seats then unlimited €49/mo No All plans Starter, €49/mo (two-way) 100k page views/mo (Starter)
Jam.dev Internal dev and QA Per creator $14/creator/mo annual Yes All plans Free Not stated
Feedbucket Agencies, many sites Member tiers $49/mo No Business† Pro, $49/mo Not stated
Userback Free plan, two-way Jira Seat tiers $39/mo ($29 annual) Yes Business Team, $39/mo (two-way) Not stated
BugHerd Element pinning, built-in board Tiers + paid extra seats $50/mo ($42 annual) No Not documented Premium, $150/mo Not stated
Gleap Support desk with bug reports Tiers by seats, projects and users $35/mo ($29 annual) No All plans Team, $179/mo 10k monthly active users (Starter)

*One integration per project on BASIC; all integrations, plus full console and network logs, from STARTUP (€29/mo). Ybug sends reports to trackers one way.

†Feedbucket’s plan cards list console logs on Business; its comparison table marks them on every plan.

“Not stated” means the vendor’s pricing page lists no traffic limit.

Prices checked on each vendor’s pricing page in October 2026, excluding tax. They may have changed since; check the vendor’s site for current figures.

Why consider a Marker.io alternative?

Marker.io’s pricing page and help center show three points worth checking against how your team works.

Marker.io homepage: the top-rated website feedback tool, with its annotation toolbar on a web app
marker.io, October 2026

1. Jira and developer tools start on Team. Starter, at $39 a month billed annually, includes annotated screenshots, environment details and what Marker.io calls basic integrations: Trello, Asana, ClickUp, GitHub, GitLab, Linear, Bitbucket, Notion and five more. Jira, Azure DevOps, console logs, network requests, session replay and issue sync are on Team, at $149 a month billed annually. A team of three that works in Jira pays $149, not $39.

2. Page views are capped. Starter covers 5,000 visitor sessions a month and Team 25,000. According to Marker.io’s fair use policy, when the widget is visible on a public site, “every single visitor session counts toward your monthly pageview limit”, including visitors who never open it. Showing the widget only to logged-in users keeps regular visitors out of the count. An account that stays over the limit is restricted: it cannot add guests or projects until its usage matches the plan.

3. There is no free plan, and prices are shown billed annually. The trial lasts 15 days and needs no credit card. The pricing page lists annual prices only.

When is Marker.io still the right choice?

Marker.io does several things that some tools in this list do not:

  • Status changes flow back from your tracker. On Team, issue sync updates Marker.io when an issue changes status in Jira, Trello, ClickUp and other connected tools. The sync runs in that direction only: Marker.io does not change the status in the tracker.
  • Thirteen integrations on Starter. A team on GitHub, GitLab, Linear, Asana or ClickUp connects its tracker on the $39 plan; only Jira and Azure DevOps wait for Team.
  • Extra users without a plan change. A fourth user on Starter costs $4 a month, and Team includes 15 users. Reporters are free and unlimited, need no account and can follow up on their own issues.
  • Session replay with developer tools. Team attaches a replay of the session to the report, alongside console logs and network requests.
  • An Agency plan. Eligible small agencies can apply for 15 members and 50 active projects at $99 a month billed annually.

If your team works in Jira, has the budget for Team and wants session replay with each report, staying on Marker.io is a reasonable decision.

Is there a free Marker.io alternative?

Yes. Three tools in this list have a free plan:

  • Ybug FREE: 1 project, 1 member, 50 screenshots a month. Reports include an annotated screenshot with browser, OS and URL details. Console logs and integrations start on the paid plans.
  • Jam.dev Free: 30 captures a month and 5 creator seats, with console and network logs and Jira and Linear included. It works through a browser extension, so it suits internal teams more than clients.
  • Userback Free: 2 seats and 2 sites. Feedback older than 7 days is locked until you upgrade.

None of the three free plans combines an on-page widget with console logs. They suit trying a tool or running a low-volume project; check each cap against your workload.

Alternatives with Jira and console logs for less

These five tools include Jira and console logs on a plan that costs less than Marker.io Team.

1. Ybug

Ybug adds a feedback button to your site with one JavaScript snippet or the WordPress plugin. Reporters draw on a screenshot of the page and submit, with no account. Each report arrives with the browser, OS, screen size and URL, and on paid plans with the JavaScript console log. The report then goes to Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, GitHub or any of 25+ integrations, automatically or after review in the Ybug dashboard.

Pricing: flat per plan, with no billing for extra seats. BASIC costs €13 a month (3 members, 3 projects), STARTUP €29 (7 members, 7 projects) and COMPANY €59 (15 members, 15 projects). Yearly billing is 20% cheaper. Reporters are unlimited on every plan. Free plan: yes. The trial lasts 10 days on the plan you choose.

Solves: Jira and console logs without a $149 plan, and the page-view cap. A team of seven on STARTUP pays €29 a month for Jira and all other integrations, full console and network logs, webhooks and screen recording. BASIC connects one tracker per project, Jira included, with limited console recording. Paid plans count neither page views nor reports.

Trade-off: Ybug sends reports to your tracker one way: status changes in Jira do not flow back, which Marker.io Team syncs. Ybug has no session replay; reporters can attach a screen recording from STARTUP. Each plan caps both members and projects; a team that outgrows its plan moves to the next one, and extra projects are available only on COMPANY (€3 each). Ybug annotates a screenshot of the page, and console logs come from the website widget; the browser extension captures screenshots only. See Ybug vs Marker.io for the full comparison.

2. Usersnap

Usersnap is a customer feedback platform that combines visual bug reporting with surveys and product discovery. Reporters send feedback through the widget or a survey without a seat.

Usersnap homepage: positioned as a product evidence platform for product discovery
usersnap.com, October 2026

Pricing: tiered by projects, where a project is “a feedback widget or survey”. Starter costs €49 a month (2 seats, 2 projects, 100,000 page views). Growth costs €129 a month with unlimited seats, 10 projects and 500,000 page views. Free plan: no. The trial ends after 20 feedback items.

Solves: Jira and console logs on the first plan. Console log capture, two-way sync with Jira, Azure DevOps and other trackers, and a browser extension are on every plan. Starter also allows 100,000 page views a month.

Trade-off: Starter has 2 seats, so a team of three moves to Growth at €129 a month, close to Marker.io Team. Every plan also carries surveys and an opportunity board. Marker.io vs Usersnap: Marker.io starts cheaper for three users but keeps Jira and console logs for Team; Usersnap includes both, with two-way sync, from Starter, but allows 2 seats and 2 widgets or surveys on that plan. See Ybug vs Usersnap and the guide to Usersnap alternatives.

3. Jam.dev

Jam is a browser extension that captures a screenshot or recording with console logs, network requests and device details in one click.

Jam homepage: the context capture tool for software teams, installed as a Chrome extension
jam.dev, October 2026

Pricing: per creator. Team costs $14 per creator a month billed annually. Free plan: yes, 30 captures a month and 5 creator seats, with Jira and Linear included. The Team trial lasts 14 days.

Solves: console and network logs and Jira on every plan, including Free.

Trade-off: Jam is not an on-page widget. Reporters install the extension, or you send a Recording Link (5 a month on Free, 150 on Team). That suits developers and QA more than clients or website visitors. See Ybug vs Jam.

4. Feedbucket

Feedbucket is built for agencies collecting client feedback on websites. It has no project cap, and clients report without an account.

feedbucket.app, October 2026

Pricing: tiered by members, with unlimited projects on every plan. Pro costs $49 a month (2 members) and includes Jira, Asana and ClickUp. Business costs $89 a month (25 members). Yearly billing is 20% cheaper. Free plan: no. The trial lasts 14 days.

Solves: Jira on the entry plan, and the project cap. An agency can add a widget to every client site on any plan.

Trade-off: Pro includes 2 members, so most teams of three or more start on Business. The plan cards list console logs on Business, while the comparison table marks them on every plan; confirm with Feedbucket before you rely on them on Pro. See Ybug vs Feedbucket.

5. Userback

Userback collects visual feedback and bug reports through an on-site widget, and adds surveys and session replay on Business. Reporters do not need a seat.

Userback homepage: centralize your user feedback, with an inbox synced to Jira and ClickUp
userback.io, October 2026

Pricing: tiered by seats. Team costs $39 a month or $29 billed annually (5 seats, 5 sites), with two-way Jira and ClickUp sync. Business costs $99 a month or $79 billed annually, with unlimited seats, 25 sites, console logs, network requests, session replay and surveys. Free plan: yes, with feedback locked after 7 days.

Solves: two-way Jira sync on the cheapest paid plan, 5 seats, and a free plan.

Trade-off: console logs and session replay start on Business. At $79 to $99 a month, Business still costs less than Marker.io Team and has unlimited seats where Team has 15 users. See Ybug vs Userback.

Alternatives with different trade-offs

These two tools solve a different Marker.io limit, but neither connects Jira on its first plan.

6. BugHerd

BugHerd pins feedback to page elements and tracks it on its own task board, so a team without Jira gets a complete workflow on day one.

bugherd.com, October 2026

Pricing: tiered by members, with extra members billed. Standard costs $50 a month or $42 billed annually (5 members), Studio $80 (10 members) and Premium $150 (25 members). Each extra member costs $8 a month. Projects and guests are unlimited on every plan. Free plan: no.

Solves: the project limit, since every plan has unlimited projects and guests, and 5 members on the cheapest plan.

Trade-off: Jira, Linear, Asana and ClickUp are Premium-only, at $150 a month, about what Marker.io Team costs, and BugHerd’s pages do not document console log capture. Marker.io vs BugHerd: Marker.io connects GitHub, Linear and ClickUp from Starter and adds Jira and console logs on Team; BugHerd has no project cap and its own board, but keeps the trackers for Premium. See Ybug vs BugHerd and the guide to BugHerd alternatives.

7. Gleap

Gleap is now positioned as a help desk for software teams. It combines live chat and a support inbox with bug reporting for web and mobile apps, where reports can include an annotated screenshot, console logs and recent network requests.

Gleap bug reporting page: in-app bug reporting for web and mobile apps, with the screenshot, session replay and console logs attached
gleap.ai, October 2026

Pricing: tiered by seats, projects and monthly active users. Starter costs $35 a month or $29 billed annually (1 seat, 1 project, 10,000 monthly active users). Team costs $179 a month or $149 billed annually, with unlimited seats and projects, session replay, surveys and all native integrations, Jira included. Every paid plan adds $0.29 per support conversation resolved by its AI agent. Free plan: no. The 7-day trial needs a card.

Solves: console logs from the first plan, and unlimited seats on Team.

Trade-off: Starter has one seat and no native integrations, so Jira needs Team, at the same $149 a month billed annually as Marker.io Team. The product is built around customer support, which is more than a team needs for website QA. See Ybug vs Gleap.

How do you switch from Marker.io to Ybug?

Replace the Marker.io widget script or WordPress plugin with the Ybug snippet or the Ybug WordPress plugin, then connect your tracker in the project’s integration settings and choose whether reports go to it automatically or after review. Ybug does not import Marker.io feedback, so finish or move the open items before you cancel; issues already created in Jira stay there. The Ybug vs Marker.io page compares the two in detail, and the Jira integration page shows what arrives on each issue.
