As we care about the protection of your Personal Information, we have prepared the following information about the processing of your personal information, which complies with Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”). You find here mainly what personal data we process, why we do it, how we work with it and how long we keep it. Please note this Privacy Policy is applicable only when the specific processes with the personal data are subject to GDPR.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at https://ybug.io

Information collection and use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information or data that can be used to contact or identify you (the "Personal Information").

We may use the Personal Information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication or surf the web site. If you are registered user of our Service, the Personal Information we collect and process may include your email address, your name, phone number, postal address, user name, password and any Personal Information you provide us with during using our Service or by any communication between us.

If you are a visitor of our website, we would like to inform you we use cookies technology. Information about cookies is provided in this Privacy Policy as well.

In case you sign up for our newsletter, we use your e-mail address and details about your consent to processing your Personal Information.

In case you respond to a feedback survey or a marketing communication, we use all the information and Personal information which you have provided us with.

We process your Personal Information for several reasons. Each of these reasons must also be supported by a legal basis for processing in order for the processing of Personal Information to be lawful.

These reasons are for example:

  • To deliver our Service to you in the scope of your order.
  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To improve our website in order to better serve you.
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests or questions.
  • To quickly process your transactions.

According to GDPR, the purposes and reasons we process your Personal Information are as follows:

  • Performance of the contract or adoption of measures prior to the conclusion of the contract - for this reason, we process Personal Information so that we can provide you with the Service we agree on, and to contact you and communicate with you about our cooperation.
  • Our legitimate interest - We also process your Personal Information because our legitimate interests allow us so. As a result, we can analyse how you use our web site, respond to your questions, perform direct marketing activities, or take appropriate measures to exercise or defend our legal claims.
  • It is our duty - We also process your Personal Information because the law says so. For example, we are obliged to keep tax documents - invoices in which your Personal Information may be included.
  • Your consent – in case you grant us your consent to the processing your Personal Information.

Providing the Personal Information

In some cases, we process the Personal Information for purposes where it is necessary to provide us with them. For example, if you are interested in using our Service, we need your Personal Information so that we can enter into a contract with you, provide the Service, or contact you during our cooperation. Unfortunately, the Service won’t be accessible without these.

We also process your Personal Information on the basis of your consent. For example, we may send you our newsletter because you have agreed with it. You may withdraw the consent any time; however, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before. In case you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us or use the link in the newsletter. We will delete your Personal Information after the withdrawal of your consent, unless we may process them on another legal basis.

The duration of processing Personal Information

If we enter into a contract, we will keep your Personal Information for longer than the duration of our cooperation, for example due to withdrawal, claims and others. Under the accounting legislation, we are obliged to collect tax documents for a period of 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the transaction occurred. Therefore, we cannot delete your Personal Information as soon as we have completed our cooperation.

However, you can be sure that we only process your Personal Information for as long as necessary and to an appropriate extent. The retention period of your Personal Information is then determined according to the following logic:

  • For the duration of our cooperation;
  • For as long as it is necessary to protect the rights of our company and for as long as it is necessary to determine, exercise or defend legal claims (up to 4 years);
  • For the duration of our other legitimate interests (up to 3 years);
  • For a period determined by law (up to 10 years)
  • For the period necessary to respond to your customer service request or questions (up to 3 months)
