Scale your workflow, not your software bill
Paying $79/mo just to be locked into a single workspace slows down your agency and frustrates your team.
Ybug is built for growing web teams. We give you deep developer diagnostics and a flexible pricing structure that never punishes your growth. Find the perfect plan for your team size.
When a client reports "this button doesn't work" in MarkUp.io, developers are left guessing about the browser, device, and underlying errors.
Ybug skips the back-and-forth. We automatically capture the user's environment, JavaScript console logs, and network errors, turning a vague visual comment into a fully reproducible bug report.
Feeding your workflow, not adding another hub
MarkUp.io is designed as a standalone collaboration platform where your team has to log in to manage reviews.
Ybug is designed to stay out of your way. We act as a frictionless bridge, pushing visual feedback and technical data directly into Jira, GitHub, ClickUp, or Trello, so your developers never have to leave their existing tools.
Flexible organization without the "1 Workspace" trap
MarkUp.io's $79/mo Pro plan severely restricts you to just 1 Workspace, forcing agencies to upgrade to an expensive custom Enterprise tier just to keep multiple client projects separated.
Ybug offers generous, flexible project limits on all paid tiers, allowing you to cleanly organize your clients without hitting an artificial paywall.
A true Free tier vs. a gated trial
MarkUp.io asks for your credit card upfront just to start a 30-day trial, with no free tier to fall back on for smaller projects.
Ybug doesn't gatekeep your workflow. We give you a Free Forever plan to get started without a credit card, and affordable premium tiers to support you as your agency grows.
Key differences that matter in daily work

Seamless sync vs. a standalone hub
Ybug pushes full bug reports directly into your PM tools; MarkUp.io wants you to manage reviews inside their platform.
Generous limits vs. a 1-workspace trap
Ybug lets you cleanly organize multiple clients; MarkUp.io restricts you to a single workspace on their $79/mo plan.
Free Forever vs. credit card required
Ybug offers a free plan with zero card needed; MarkUp.io gates their trial behind a credit card wall.

Here’s what our users say
Simple, effective tool perfectly integrated into our workflow
Ybug makes collecting feedback and bugs extremely smooth, even for non-technical users. Annotated screenshots, automatic environment information (browser, console, URL, screen size), and integrations with our project management tools save considerable time during testing and support phases. Installation is quick, the interface is clear, and the team behind the product is responsive and attentive.

Ybug user experience after more than 3 years
I like the simplicity of the parametrization, yet the sophisticated functionality in the background. It is a perfect tool for implementation projects, with no time you will have a prepared solution fur bug tracking and ticket collections. Have been using this tool with e-mail + redmine integration and it was just really good. From user perspective it is absolutely simple, project is defined by the web url where they are standing at and they focus only on the problem reporting. All technicall info is sent automatically.

Excellence Website Widget
Ybug is intuitive and easy to use for someone who by nature is not technical. It is quite flexible - where some tools are limited to bug reporting, we use Ybug not only to report bugs, but to also solicit feedback on specific pages and products. Ybug also provides an invaluable screenshot that enables a customer to show us the exact issue. On top of this, service is excellent.
EscolaSoft use ybug on daily basis and find it very useful.
Easy to install process, Jira and Github integration. We found a bug with taking screenshots in an iframe, which was submitted and fixed by the really responsive team.

Great software for visual bug reporting!
We use it daily to help client capture feedback and send this feedback directly to our project management tool basecamp.

Easy to use and integrates nicely with our PM tools
There are 3 main features that I like the most: 1. Unlike other feedback software that we used before, Ybug is easier to launch for each project. It typically takes 2-3 minutes to add a project to Ybug and start sending feedback. 2. It has a nice Chrome extension, which allows to capture screenshots on any website and tag to any project that we are currently working on. 3. Ybug integrates nicely with Teamwork (our PM tool), so each feedback that is submitted on the development websites - is automatically created as a task for our development team.

Easy to setup, easy to use
One central tool to get bug reports from non tech users, with a lot of information that help the dev team to understand the problem (url, screenshot, etc)
The Chrome widget is very powerful. Internal users just have to install it, and they can immediately report bug or else.
Yes. MarkUp.io Pro plan sits at $79/month and requires a credit card to even start a trial. Ybug offers a Free Forever plan, and our paid plans start at just €10/month. For most web agencies, switching to Ybug is significantly more cost-effective.
Does Ybug capture console logs?
Yes. Unlike generic visual collaboration tools, Ybug is built specifically for web developers. We automatically capture JavaScript console logs, network errors, browser info, and screen resolution with every single report.
Does Ybug support PDF and video reviews like MarkUp.io?
No. If your primary goal is reviewing PDFs, static images, or offline video files, MarkUp.io is the better tool. However, if your goal is getting actionable bug reports on live web applications, Ybug provides a much deeper, developer-focused experience.
Is Ybug hard to install?
Not at all. It's just a simple JavaScript snippet. If you use WordPress, we even have a plugin. You can be up and running in under 5 minutes.
Can clients submit feedback without logging in?
Yes. With Ybug, clients can submit annotated feedback directly from your site without logging in or creating guest accounts. It removes the friction that often stops clients from reporting issues.
Can I try Ybug before switching?
Absolutely. We offer a free trial with no credit card required. You can even run Ybug alongside MarkUp.io on a staging site to compare the workflow side-by-side.
Stop collecting comments. Start fixing issues
Get precise annotated screenshots and true developer context without paying $79/month for a single workspace.
