How feedback gets into Quire

Point-and-click capture

Users point at the bug — you get a task

A user marks the problem on the page and submits a short note. Ybug turns that into a Quire task, so your project gets a useful report instead of a loose screenshot.

  • In-page widget — no Quire account needed for the reporter
  • Annotated screenshots show exactly what the user saw
  • Works on production, staging, and password-protected sites
Routing & triage

Send tasks to the right Quire project

Pick the Quire project and an optional default assignee. Then choose whether new reports should create tasks automatically or wait in Ybug for manual review.

  • Send to one Quire project per Ybug project
  • Set an optional default assignee
  • Customize task titles with Ybug placeholders

Console clues included

Give developers the context they’ll ask for anyway

Ybug can include a console summary and link back to the full report, so developers can see whether the issue came with JavaScript errors before reproducing it.

  • Console error and warning summary in the task body
  • Browser, OS, screen, viewport, and URL included
  • Full report stays available in Ybug for deeper debugging

Full context, every task

Quire tasks arrive ready for triage

Each task can include the user’s feedback, screenshot image link, source URL, reporter details, browser, OS, viewport, console summary, video link, attachments, and a link back to the full report in Ybug.

  • Feedback becomes the Quire task description
  • Screenshot and browser context travel with the task
  • Choose which details to include per Ybug project

Why teams use
Ybug with Quire

Keep planning in Quire while Ybug handles the visual proof and browser context that usually gets lost between tools.

Tasks without cleanup

Ybug creates structured Quire tasks from visual reports instead of leaving someone to copy feedback by hand.

Context travels with the task

Every task can include screenshot, URL, browser, OS, viewport, reporter details, and custom fields.

Console summary included

When JavaScript errors are part of the report, Ybug can include a console summary and link to the full report.

Manual or automatic handoff

Create tasks automatically for speed, or review reports in Ybug before forwarding them to Quire.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send reports to multiple Quire projects?

Each Ybug project points to one Quire project. If you manage several products or clients, create a separate Ybug project for each and connect it to the right Quire destination.

What does Ybug include in the Quire task?

The task description can include the reporter’s feedback, screenshot link, page URL, browser and OS details, viewport, console summary, attachments, video link, custom fields, and a link back to Ybug.

Can I assign new Quire tasks automatically?

Yes. Pick an optional default assignee during setup, and Ybug adds that assignee to new tasks.

Can I review reports before sending them to Quire?

Yes. You can create every task automatically, or review reports in Ybug and forward selected reports manually.

Do Quire task updates sync back to Ybug?

Not right now. Ybug creates the Quire task and stores the link, but Quire task status changes don’t sync into Ybug.

Can our users submit feedback without logging in?

Yes. Users can submit visual feedback and bug reports directly from your app in a few clicks – no signup or login required. Less friction means more useful feedback.
