Connect ChatGPT

Custom MCP servers in ChatGPT need developer mode. It's available on the web for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts.

Why developer mode?

Ybug isn't in ChatGPT's app directory yet, so for now you add it yourself as a developer-mode app. You won't need developer mode once the listing is live, and the server URL stays the same either way.

1. Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
2. Go to Plugins, click + and create a developer-mode app.
3. Name it Ybug, paste https://mcp.ybug.io/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
4. Save, then approve access in the browser window.

To use Ybug in a chat, choose Developer mode from the + menu in the message box and select the Ybug app. By default, ChatGPT asks you to confirm triage actions before they run.
